Sometimes breastfeeding will stop your period and sometimes it won't. It depends on your own system. Your period comes back when your hormone levels increase.

Yes, It can stop your period, after it has resumed. Your body concentrates on making milk. A lot of times a person will not start their period the whole time they are breastfeeding, but it normally resumes when feedings stop. If you still have milk and want to stop your period, just breastfeed more.
