I cannot breathe. What should I do?

I don't know of any other way to answer this question other that call 911! If you mean that you are winded then you may want to see a doctor.

Go to the emergency room. Unless you just have a breathing disorder and have an inhaler or some other device that helps you breathe. If you really cannot breathe and this has never happened before you need to get medical treatment right away.

This may be due to attack of bronchitis. If inhaler is used, you may get relief. Perhaps some growth may be existing inside your nose which may also be the reason. Better get the advice of a specialist on chest diseases. Try to do some yoga involving breathing exercise.

Drink coffee if you are coherant with breathlessness. Call 911 fast for severe breathing problems that don't respond to asthma treatment or resting or relaxing.
