Question by  Siryippity (19)

I bought some plants that need "acidic soil." What does that mean?

I'm not sure if you make it or buy it or what.

You can purchase different types of soil from your local nursery. You will need to read the back of the bags to find out which is the type you need. However your soil maybe already slightly acidic you will need to test it to make sure which a PH tester.

This just means that the plants you bought need to be in soil with a pH level of less than 7. Check on the bags of soil you're going to purchase and you'll have no trouble!

Obtain a ph tester. Acidic soils have a ph lower than 7. Use sphagnum peat or feed a solution of 2 tablespoons of vinegar to one gallon of water.
