There are always emblems in multiple locations. The inside of the purse is one place to look, the pockets on the inside should have leather stamped emblem. Also look at the craftsmanship of the purse and be honest does it look like it high quailty? If not then you might have a fake.

a real louis vuitton purse has louis vuitton written in many places on it. the main place is on the inside. they are also made in france. imitations would be made in china.

well you can go on the online site to compare yours to other bags. Some bags have a signature on them look for that.

the LV logo's should never be "cut off". All the LV letters should be centered on the bag, and should never go either outside or above the handles. and once again, they should never be cut in half for another side of the bag
