There is no way to know. In the future, best to avoid such a situation by getting his number as well, so you can initiate a call if he does not.

When you give the guy your number he will do one of two things: 1. hesitate, smile at the number and tell you he will call 2. look at you, smile at you and tell you he will call. If it's 2, he will call.

He won't. Just like girls don't call guys they don't like. It's unfortunately a numbers game. That's human nature. People call me at my business every day and ask me to call them back, then never answer. People are finicky. If he's interested, he'll call. If not, time saved.

Sadly, you won't know that he will call. It definitely helps to hope that he will call, but don't obsess over it. Your best bet is to wait a few days and see what evolves from there. If he calls, great, if not, there's lots of fish out there!
