The first thing is to remove the air bag with a knife so it doesn't get caught in anything. The next thing to to get the battery power to the vehicle. BMW has a impact driven battery disconnect which kills battery power in an accident. You can replace the jumper to get the power back to the circuits.

Usually, in most cars, once the driver's side airbag has been deployed, either the impact sensor needs to be reset, the sensor needs to be replaced, or the entire steering column needs to be repaired of replaced. On top of that, you will need to replace the airbag so that it is usable as well.

You should never use your car after an accident if it is not properly investigated by a professional. When the airbag gets deployed, the hit have probably been hard enough to cause several damage to the car and there is very good reason why the car refuses to start after that.

After the airbag is deployed in a BMW the airbag sensor will need to be replaced in order to start the car, even if it was just a minor accident.
