If color of brassiness is too light then you simply color over with darker color that is not brassy which would be the desired color. Or if your desired look is lighter than the brassiness it is now then you must first bleach the hair more to the desired lightness then rinse dry and apply desired non-brassy color to hair.

Assuming the brassy color is the result of lightening your hair, the safest way is to get a hair stylist to fix it for you. If you try to do it yourself, you need to counteract the orange with a blue or purple tone.

a home remedy is to wash it with some kind of color correcting shampoo. if you go to a stylist, they will probably put a professional corrector on it to soften the brassy tones.

To get the brassy color out of your hair you will need to either buy some color enhancing hair or go get a Pre-Art or Malibu, at a hair salon.

i also used tresseme for blonde while doing this

A pinch of grape kool-aid has helped a little it says to keep doing this for a day or 2 and it will help tremendously i have done it today and it is all ready better..i am afraid to color it again so i will just keep doing this
