How should I put a nose ring in my nose?

It's a new piercing and this is pretty tricky.

Put the ring in through the front and loop it around so that the opening of the ring is now in the front, easily seen. Squeeze the ball that contact the ring together in. This is the tough part. Just take your time. Make sure your hands are clean and not slippery from lotion. Practice makes perfect.

Go to a professional to do this since you might get an infection afterwards. But if you want to do it just pierce through with a sterilized needle.

-Consult with a piercer to make sure it is healed -Clean the piercing and the ring -Slide the pointed part of the ring in and twist it side to side while slowly pushing it into your nose *If you have any trouble you can use lubricant such as A&D ointment

Since it is a new piercing, you need to sterilize the area first, then gently nudge the ring in your nose. If it doesn't go in, don't force it.

If your piercing is new, you shouldn't change it until your body piercer has checked how it's healing, and informed you that it's ready for jewelry changes. And if you're finding it a bit tricky to do yourself, most piercers do free jewelry changes on piercings they have performed.

First I would make sure everything is sanatized. Make sure you have cleaned the new jewelry, your hands, and the piercing itself. I suggest using a screw because it is easiest to insert and holds itself in place. Stick the pointed end in to the hole and twist until it is lying flat on your nose.

Make sure the hoop is large enough so it won't pinch. Use a tiny dab of triple antibiotic ointment in the hole, and simply push it through and secure.

If the piercing is new than you should not be changing the jewelry out or messing with it at all yet. The healing time for a nose piercing is 6 to 8 weeks.

Push the pointed end of the ring into the hole, twist slightly until it is through the hole. Replace the ball using pliers or if you can your fingers. Viola!
