How should I initiate a first kiss on a date?

I will get her hand and keep it for some time and will observe her response and body movement because from this I will understand how much she agrees to move further. If I confuse with her attitude I should ask her directly weather she agrees to kiss her.

When on a date its hard to tell when you should move in for the first kiss. Read the other person, if the feeling is there you move in.

on my first kiss, i held my girlfriends hand and then we both looked eachother in the eyes and we both leaned in

If you're female, wait until you two are alone. Look up at him, then down and away. Lean toward him slightly, and wait. Or kiss him yourself.

If you are on a date and you want to initiate a first kiss, right before you are about to leave you should lean in close to your date. If the person quickly moves back that is a bad sign that you will not receive one in return. If the person leans in closer then a kiss will eventually happen.
