How should I go about hanging bookshelves?

Book shelves are heavy, so you have to make sure it is well anchored to the wall. One thing you can do is find a stud or two and screw the shelf into that. Drill a small hole to make sure you have found a stud. If there is no stud, use plastic or lead anchor bolts.

You will need to obtain a stud finder, a drill, and some screws. From here you need to mark where you would like your shelves, mark where the studs are, make sure the shelving is level. From here all you have left is to use the drill to screw into the studs.

find stud i the wall and then and make sure the scerw go it the stud so they will be stronge enought to hold the book

Attach brackets to the shelf. Place small level on top of shelf. Hold up to wall; level, make pencil marks through brackets. Drill holesa nd hand shelf!
