On Jaguar V6s and V8s, timing belts should be changed every 50,000 to 75,000 miles, depending on driving conditions. For example, vehicles driven under extreme conditions, such as in excessively hot or humid weather, dusty environments, or racing or emergency vehicle operations. On Jaguar V12s, timing belts should be changed every 35,000 miles.

Well it depends on what year your car is. I know that most manufacturers recommend it be replaced every 90-100,000 miles. It should tell you in your owners manual what interval they recommend for your particular model engine.

Standard timing belt replacement interval is between 60 and 80 thousand miles. A jaguar, with a higher performance engine may benefit from more frequent changes, such as every fifty thousand.

Jaguar parts are well guaranteed and does not require servicing often, however it is sugessted that one need to maintain the timing belt. All you need to check is the exact spaces as per the manual, its any changes are required then have it replaced.

If you have a timing belt and not a timing chain, I would recommend changing it every 60,000 to 100,000 miles. It is very important to have this done rather than risk the consequences of a failure.

Recommended replacement for timing belt depends on the engine #. 70,000 (7 years) to 105,000 Mile (10 years). You should have it replaced due to age. Having the timing belt break will cause several thousands of dollars to fix, it's a good practice to have it done sooner rather than later

Depending on use and abuse, most manufacturers recommend timing belt replacement at 60-80k miles. Non-interference motors will survive a belt break but, an interference motor will break additional, expensive parts.

Really it will depend on your year and engine. Look in you manual or online to see when it is recommended that it be changed. Typically it is around 100,000 miles.

If the timing belt become failed then the sound of the Jaguar should changed then you can change the timing belt. Better you can change the belt with the correct interval.
