Drivers are generally free from the manufacturers website. Plug and play devices do not need additional drivers. Some products include a CD with drivers.

Player applications are free - like VLC, MPC or Winamp. Drivers are more specific and will depend on the use/application. Businesses will need to pay but home use not.

now a days electronic costs have reduced a lot. Its not like before when they came in market. When mp4 came in market at that time it was too costly but now it is reduced to as good as nothing. Now a good mp4 player costs upto 5000 to 1000 thousand
