Playing paintball can be very expensive if you want it to be, but you should be able to purchase an inexpensive gun for under $100 and some other supplies such as a helmet and pads for under $100. The continual costs will be paying to play at centers and new paint balls. However, you can make the hobby affordable.

I love playing paintball, but unfortunately it can be expensive. If your buying your own gear, expect to spend at least $100 on a decent gun and more on protection, air tanks, and paintballs; notincluding field rental. You can rent your gear, but expect to pay about $50 each visit.

Prices vary from one field to another. On average,about $15. 00 for field fees,$15. 00 for renting a marker and mask if you don't have one,and between $8. 00 an $10. 00 per 100 balls is pretty typical. If you are planning on buying gear,it will cost more.

Buy a mask, (between $10 and $25) but other equipment is optional. Starter-kits vary, but $100 sets you up well. Paintballs and compressed-air are cheap--maybe $10 per day.

75 to 100 dollars for the gun, mask, and CO2. 30 dollars for 2000 paintballs, and 15-25 to get on a field, can maybe get him a membership for 100.

It depeneds if you rent from a fun center type place it could be anywhere from 15-50 dollars a time depending on the guns you rent and how much paint you buy. If he wants to buy the gun and play more often you could be talking hundreds or even thousands for good gear

Well first of all you have to buy the paintball gun which cost anywhere from 30 dollars up. Then you have to get the co2 cartaridges for the gun, that can get expensive. Then you have to buy the paintballs. So over all it can cost a lot just to play with a paintball gun.

It depends on what gear you want, and the quality. It can be as cheap as just buying a cheap $20 marker and a box of balls for $10. It can also be very expensive if you want face/body protection, a higher quality marker, etc. Some markers can cost hundreds, on average a good one will run for about $75.

The costs are $25 to play all day at a paintball field. $25 to rent the paintball ball gun, goggles and air tank. It will cost $20 for a case of paintballs. A case will get you 1000 to 2000 rounds of paintballs.
