How much will it cost on average for a new AC system for my house?

My air conditioner has gone out and needs to be replaced, I live in a 2000 square foot house and will need a new one.

Depending on where you like and the name brand of the AC system, you are probably looking at a cost of 3. 5 to 8 thousand. Find a couple reputable companies and have them give you a free estimate. This will give you an idea of what you are facing. Also, the best brands are by far the most expensive.
