In broad terms, a basic re-model will cost you $5-10,000. An extensive re-model with new high-end appliances can be $30-$50,000. It all depends on what you want to do.

It really depends on what you are looking for in a remodel. Are you looking for new floors, cabinets, lighting, electrical, fixtures and plumbing? Something extensive could cost upwards of $30,000-40,000. Again, depending on what you want done and the materials you would be interested in using. First ask yourself what sort of remodel you want, and go from there.
