You should feed your cat two to three portions of cat food which is halve a pouch for each meal. Some cat biscuits, about two to three scoops is enough as the cat can be thirsty make sure there is plenty of fresh water always there for the cat to drink. If the cat eats more, worming will be necessary.

The cat's diet depends on its physical behavior. If it is an active cat, it can consume more without weight gain. My cat usually gets half a large can twice a week. Some cats can eat a full can once or twice a week. I have seen others that get a spoonful a day and have gotten overweight.

Do you feed your cat all wet food or a mix of wet and dry? You should leave dry food out for your cat to munch whenever it feels like. As for the wet food, you can mix a half a can in the dry food during morning feeding or you can feed it on it's own.

I feed my cat one small can of food in the morning. Sometimes it might sit there a half of day before he eats it. I always have a bowl of dry food and water out, which i change daily. On occasion he has eaten another can in the evening. We use Fancy Feast.
