7 month old babies may start eating babies food. In my country since we eat full meal three times a day, I feed my baby thrice a day that is breakfast,lunch and dinner. As to how much, it depends on the baby. And you can ask your pediatrician about it

By 7 months old I believe they should be eating baby food approximately 3 times a day. I would suggest around normal meal times to get them onto your family's schedule. They will also continue to get formula (milk is not recommended until 1 year). The frequency of the formula feeding will decrease when the baby is eating food.

Although it varies on the individual infant, most 7 month olds eat about every two hours, and most consume about 8 0z. each feeding. Again, this will vary among each child.

A 7 month old should be getting approximately 28 ounces of milk a day (usually about five feeds a day), and should at this age, be graduating to "adult" food, even though they haven't gotten most/any teeth. Soft food which is watered down should be introduced around this age to a 7 month old.
