Evinrude manufactures engines with many different levels of power. Their outboard marine motors have been inproduction since 1907, and the first model offered a top speed of 5 miles per hour. The lowest horsepower engine comes in at 1.5 horse power, while the highest power engine they offer can offer 250 horsepower.

The horsepower of Evinrude outboard engines ranges from 15 HP to 300 HP. There are six types of engine in the range which covers high output, V6, V8, inline, multi-fuel and commercial engines.
