Can you help me troubleshoot Evinrude 70 hp idle problems?

If you Evinrude is having idle problems it is probably one of two things. First it could be the carberator is opened up too much (people often do this so the motorcycle is louder but its bad for the idle speed). If it is not that I would suspect an exhust problem, have the muffler checked out.

It could be dirty carborators, old or worn spark plugs and wires, low idle screw adjustment or old or dirty gasoline.

One of the most common problems with the this motorcycle is the senor engine which will need to replace regularity in order to reduce idling

FIRST remove and clean the fuel filter AND SEE WHETHER plugs look OK. You have to clean the carbuators, install kits, insure all passages are open, I use a strand of copper wire. After that you can run it. Proper cleaning and removing of circuit and putting it again will it to run without any problem.
