How much does Toshiba charge to get you a restore disk?

Or could an average repair shop get you one?

Toshiba dosent charge for the DVD restore image disk as long as your the owner of the rights. However there is a $24.95 shipping and Handeling charge. You will get the image from when it was manufactured by the serial number.

Toshiba will charge you 20 dollars to get restore discs. As they don't put restore disks in the box with laptops anymore, it is the users responsibility to create them when they first start up their computers.

call toshiba. its free for a restore disk. give you computer model number and info on the bottom of your computer. the only charge is shipping and handleling which is 24.95. BEST SOLUTION> will restore all factory installed features that came when purchased your laptop.

Most smaller local computer repair companies are able to give you a generic restore disk that will be more than adequate to restore the operating system and drivers on your computer. This is probably a much cheaper solution.
