Salary employees do not have a set amount of hours that they have to work. If the job requires that they work 60 hours a week then that is what they have to work. When their boss asks them to work during a weekend they are not paid overtime
If you're a full-time employee, you'll have to work forty hours and if you're a part-time employee you're required to work at least thirty-five hours but each state is different.
