There are 80 breeds of cats.The International Progressive Cat Breeders Alliance or IPCBA recognizes 73 feline breeds while the conservative CFA give the nod to only veloping a new breed of cats are very difficult.There are many breed of cats and there is probably still breed that still need discovering.
