When you notice her start licking herself all the time and you start seeing blood spots in places around your house.

My suggestion is a very serious one — please, have her spayed instead. I rescue dogs that are considered un-adoptable, due to abuse and abandonment. In the US alone, between 1999-2006, approximately 60,000,000 (60 million) unwanted pets are euthanized *each year*. It's a huge problem.

It is advised that you do not breed a dog till at least their second heat cycle, and with some breeds you should wait till they are two years old. It is going to depend on many factors, age and you should consider how the delivery will effect your schedule.

Mostly it veries depends on your breed. In general case,Just after two years old and also she should be in heat for about three weeks.

Once you find a male dog make the female dog to accept the male dog for breeding atleast before 13 days. Make them to breed for atleast 3 days.
