The most will be the worst in the couple days after surgery. You should feel a reduction in pain by the end of the first week. You could have pain for up to two months afterward though.

Everyone heals and experiences pain different. Therefore, it really depends on you for how fast you will heal and experience pain. The pain will also depend on whether or not they placed the implants under the muscle or above the muscle. However, usually within 3-5 days you should not be feeling any pain and pain medications should be minimal.

After the breast implantation surgery, patients are able to resume normal activity after one week's time if there are no complications such as breast pain or tenderness, bleeding from nipples, tissue thinning etc. In case of women who have their implants placed underneath the muscle will have longer recovery time and will experience more pain during the recovery period.

The pain should not last for more than a week or a week and a half. It should take about two to three weeks for you to completely heal.

People heal at different rates, but barring an infection, the pain should be mostly gone by a month post surgery. This can vary, especially if a lift is involved, due to size of incisions. Talk with your surgeon beforehand, they will have more solid information on recovery times.
