How long should you wait to propose to your girlfriend?

You should propose once you feel ready. You should wait at least a year but no more than 2 years to decide to propose to her. Waiting longer will be wasting her time and yours as well. After a year you should have a good idea of what you are looking for in a marriage.

There is no time period that you should wait to propose. You will know deep down inside when it is time to propose to her. I would suggest you do it when you are ready to and not when someone else thinks you should. This is a big step in your life, just be sure you want to take it.

No less than one year no more than two. Less than one year tells me you're desperate and are proposing to me so you won't lose me, and not because you actually know me. More than two, and I agree with everyone else, you're wasting her time.

When you can sit down and honestly imagine you two being together till the end of eternity is the right time. Could be a year or several. If you take too long, however, she'll feel as if she's wasting her time. Not for me anymore! I propose next week.

Each relationship is inherently different and obviously, what might be applicable to one may not be for another. Though, as a general rule, it's advisable to wait two years minimum.

Anything from a week to a year, it really depends on how comfortable you are with her and shes with you.Having a food friendship is advisable before proposing.
