It will prove beneficial only if your hair loss is secondary to depressed thyroid function. It may take few weeks to months to correct your thyroid deficiency[depends on your baseline hormone levels] and subsequently positive hair results may be appreciated.

Thyroid medicine never help to grow hair, It will effect to loss hair. if you are HYPO, hair loss is a symptom of HYPO and it may be that you need more time with adequate replacement

Well usually it takes a while for the medicine to get into your system. So, I am saying that it would take at least 30 to 60 days and your taking the medicine everyday at the same time to get your body working back in a manner for the medicine to help your hair.
