Most cats will live between 10 and 15 years. There are exceptions to that rule though. Some cats will die earlier than others due to health troubles or bad breeding. Others may live up to 20 years if they are well taken care of and have good health in their family history.

Just as with people, cats can live for a long or short time. Outdoor cats usually live shorter lives than indoor cats, but the average lifespan is approximately 12-15 years. Occasionally you may hear of cats living to the age of 21.

If you take care of your cat in the right way, the cat's normal living period is 12 to 14 years. Otherwise it may be varied under the atmospheric conditions.
