You should ovualte as normal and get a period within four to six weeks of having the device removed. There are no hormones in the MIrnea so you don't need to wait for your body to readjust. You should just fall back into your normal routine for periods and ovulation.

After taking out the IUD, your period should return within the first six (6) weeks. If it doesnt return in this time period, you need to consult your physician.
