How is Amtrak travel?

It's much better than air travel because there are no long security lines. You can see beautiful scenery, get up and walk around, and go to the observation and dining cars. It's relaxing.

I love Amtrak!!!First of all, Amtrak is affordable. It is also comfortable. The ride isn't bumpy like on Greyhound...and, unlike Greyhound which has to make frequent stops for people to get meals and the driver to stretch his legs, Amtrak has inhouse food service, although not fancy meals, they provide quite a neat selection of snacks and cold sandwiches.

It is slower travel, not for anybody in a hurry. It's leisurely and comfortable, especially if you enjoy quiet time, reading or watching the scenery. You may find people to chat with. Take along a book, your music, laptop, needlework, etc., and enjoy.

I have travelled on Amtrak on longer rides than that and it is a very nice experience there is food and beverages available as well as clean restrooms just like an airplane has, it just takes longer to ride the train.

Amtrak travel is very exciting. You may not be able to get to get off at the different stops they make but they make it very comfortable for you. Depending on what kind of accomodations you want it cost different prices. For myself the most comfortable would be to have a room to myself.
