How good is wildblue?

Wildblue Internet service is decent as far as speed for downloading. You will pay double to triple the price for the same speed as dsl. The high latency is bad for online gaming. As for the normal web surfer who can't get dsl or cable this is a good alternative.

My uncle had wild blue- their service was not bad, however customer service was horrific. A tech destroyed his PC somehow and fried his satellite dish during installation.

I live out in the country and wildblue works great. Its fast and reliable. The only downfall with it is that it is very expensive.

From what I have heard it all depends on your options. I have heard they have issues with drops in connection on a regular basis.
