Spaying an animal doesnt affect housebreaking. Recently counties have been urging owners to spay their animals in order to end the vicious cycle of putting unwanted animals living in shelters to sleep via euthanasia.

Spaying/Neutering your animal is actually a good thing in the way of potty training. It helps (male cats especially) to not spray randomly inside. It certainly never hurts!
