Yes that is probably the best example. A good start would be to find examples of verse and study it. They have rhyming dictionaries online that you could also use.
"Jabberwocky" is a great example of nonsense poetry; however, take note that "Jabberwocky" is constructed in such a way that the English-speaking mind can 'recognize' it despite it being nonsense.
