Most home and garden centers have variouse Fungicides available for lawns. These will generally take care of various fungii like toadstools, mushrooms and some molds. In all cases, molds and fungi require fairly constant moisture. You may need to change your watering schedule, or get more sunshine to shady areas.

Mowing and light raking are effective of destroying slime mold. Washing the affected patches with a hard stream of water can also break up the slime mold and restore the lawn to its original beauty. Since slime molds may be more common on poorly drained portions of a lawn, renovation of the affected areas should redue the disease.
