Bleach is the number one product that will kill mold and mildew and works works well in the bathroom sink, toilet and bathtub. But, if you are talking about mold and mildew that has permeated your sheet rock you may need help from a professional to either clean or replace it.

If it is a serious problem, it is better to call in a professional. If it is spotty, you may try many spray products that are out in the market today. They are made to kill mold and mildew and prevent them from coming back. However, maintenance and ventilation is the key to keeping fungus away!

First, I would go out and buy some bleach. Mix the bleach with some water. You should spray it on the moldy surface and scrub it off.

Call a professional, this is something that you cannot do yourself. If you had a small amount you could use a bleach and water spray, but wear a mask.

Mold and mildew are very hard to properly clean. You need some pretty strong chemical to get rid of them. A solution of bleach and warm soapy water usually works well on items that won't stain or discolor.
