How do you train your dog not to bark?

Teach your dog the command: quiet. Use praise and treats when he is behaving properly. Citrus collar may help in some cases. Preventing him access from the source which causes him to bark (ex street view window). Provide him with other distractions like toys and extra exercise may help.

Get yourself a dog crate and everytime the dog bark put it in the crate and it will soon learn that if it is quiet it gets to stay out and play and if it barks it will get locked up it won't take long for it to stop barking.
