How do I stop my dog from barking?

have his barker taken out! just joking. seriously, a good kennel can train your dog not to bark. they can also teach him some neat tricks and they arent that expensive.

You could try using a no bark collar, sold in pet stores and online...it sends a small shock to the dog when it barks.

The best way to stop barking is to start by figuring out why the dog is barking. Bored barking may be resolve with mental and physical stimulation of training and exercise. Territorial barking may be changed by limiting the dog's view of the world and leash walking. Lonesome barking can be stopped by providing companionship and exercise.

Never yell and scream at the dog, it gives them the attention that they are crying out for. Plus your dog will think that is joining them, adding to the excitement.
