How do you tone a flabby belly?

Sit-ups don't seem to be helping.

Doing stomach exercises will not help if you have a layer of fat on your belly. The first things you should do are exercises which burn calories and reduce the calories in your diet so you lose fat. You cannot target reduce fat in specific areas. Improve your overall health and be patient and you will see improvement.

That's because you can't spot reduce parts of the body. To reduce belly fat, and thus tone your ab region, you have to do two things: have a solid diet, and do exercises that involve your whole body. Find a solid diet plan to lower your body fat, and then start running and lifting heavy weights.

Sit ups alone will not solve the problem. Also do a lot of walking to work off excess belly flab. Another exercise you can do is lay on the floor on your back and lift your legs six inches off the floor and hold it there for 15 seconds.
