Safety first by unplugging the macine, turning off the water and drain hoses. By accessing the rear access panel, you can locate the motor. Loosen the mounting nut and push the motor to increase the tenion on the belt. Then hold the motor an tighten the nut.
the first thing after unplugging the washer is remove the rear panel and press down on the belt. if the belt gives more than a half an inch then tighten the belt. loosen the mounting nut and push the motor up and tighten the nut again.
To tighten the washing machine belts, you need to take the cover off the machine and have access to the belts, I recommend having a appliance repairman coming and taking care of it if you are not tech savvy.
