Really there is probably a lot of guide online that can describe how to do this a lot better than I could and also includes pictures to make it easier. Do a search and I'm sure someone has a guide for doing this.

You are not supposed to take apart a nintendo gamecube. There is a risk of electrocution, therefore do not open it.
