Well by stack if you mean how much do you put in. You put in quite a bit of clothes up until 3/4 of the machine is full then start.

Washing machines can't be stacked unless they are specifically made to be stacked. If you have one that is you will need 3-4 people to lift it.

You can't just stack any washing machine. You have to buy a stackable combination washer and dryer. It may come already assembled as one unit that is stacked with the washer on the bottom and the dryer on the top.
