How do you sew jeans?

The material is really thick.

There are special needles called Denim needles that you can install on your machine so the needles don't break. You will also need to make sure that the material isn't too thick. Heavy denim needs a heavy duty machine, but lighter material can be done with a regular machine, if you don't have too many layers to sew through.

Because of the material you're supposed to use thicker needles. I can't quite remember the needle type, but it happens to be strong enough to pierce through the jean material. You'll have to find a sewing machine that let's you change Gauges.
