The easiest way to reset an ipod is to use your USB cable and hook it up to Itunes. Once you are inside of itunes there is an option to wipe your Ipod, and reset it to factory settings. Another option is to hold down pause, play, and the center button on your ipod.

You can reset your ipod by going to the settings menu and resetting it from there. I think you can also reset your ipod through itunes.
