During a negative customer service experience, make notes. Get every name you can and note the date and time of the events. WRITE a letter and send it by post to the company headquarters. That is the very best way to get attention and have the issue addressed.

You can ask then and there to speak to the manager. Larger companies also have ombudsmen and complaint departments to which you could complain. You can research these customer complaint / customer advocate departments on their web page. You can also call their main phone number and ask for the complaint department.
