Relieve the fuel pressure. Remove the fuel lines to the pump. Remove pump electrical connector. Loosen mounting to pump and remove pump. Follow steps in reverse order to install.

You need to remove the gas tank form the vehicle. Then just unscrew the ring from the tank and remove the pump assembly. Just reverse the procedure to install.

Jack the rear of the suv up, secure it on jackstands Loosen the four bolts that hold the fuel tank to the suv. make sure you have something for the fuel tank to rest on and guideit down slowly you should find the fuel pump located somwhere on top of the fuel tank then just replace it

Remove the fuel tank. Remove the ring holding the fuel sending unit into the tank and pull the unit out, careful no to damage the float. Replace the pump.

To replace the fuel pump you have to drop the fuel tank. Jack the vehicle up and drop the tank and repalce the pump.

You need to take it in to have it checked out, they will know how to fix it. Or go to the auto parts store and get a manual for the car. Tell them the make and model of the car. The manual may help you out. Or take it in.
