You're going to need one of two things depending on the casing type. You'll need either sockets, or a set of screw drivers. You can remove the lock by examining the inside of the gun safe. The screws or sockets that keep them in place are there, just remove them and replace.

You will need to unscrew the lock with either a screwdriver or a electric screwdriver. You will then need to remove the lock and place the new lock in the center and then you will need to screw the lock together to form a brand new lock. You will then need to test the lock to make sure it works.

first you take the old one out using whatever kind of tool you need then pop the new one in and using a tool tighten it, in place
