You can find this information online at the Chevrolet website. In today's internet technical age, most car companies are putting their books, manuals and schematics on their websites as PDFs which can be downloaded or read online. You can also order hard copies right from the manufacturer website as well.

The service manual should have this information. If it doesn't, I'd try to find the actuator by tracing wires, then see if it can be easily removed. Sometimes these things are fairly simple to replace once you've found them.
