How do you repair a Neon evaporator coil?

You aren't suppose to repair it. You can only replace it. Well I suppose you could repair it but it would be easier and better if you just bought a new one so you would not have to repair it again after it breaks again. Take it to a place if you want it fixed.

Typically a/c coils are replaced and not repaired. This should be done by an a/c shop to prevent future leaks and problems. Then they can also re-fill it for you.

Remove the dash then take the lines loose from under the hood then remove the evaporator core it is a difficult job.

An A/C Evaporator cannot be reapaired and must be replaced. Due to the high pressures of the a/c system repairs are not an option.

A car's evaporator coil, especially the Dodge Neon, is buried deep within the air conditioning/ duct system, which is buried either deep in the dashboard, or down in the "guts" of the engine. This is not a repair that should be attempted by anyone but a trained professional.
