To recharge it you will need a filler line and Ac coolant for your car. Check the bottle to make sure you have the right one. Locate the Ac line under the hood. Hook the filler line to the big port on your ac line. Turn your car on and blast the AC. Turn the Ac coolant bottle on.

It depends on the severity of the repair. Typically most systems just need a bit of a refresher. Check to ensure that your system has been upgraded to R-134a, as that is the new standard, and get a kit to refresh the system. Cheap and easy.

One approach to fixing an A/C problem is having a full systems flush and making sure your air filter is clean. If that doesnt work, the electrical wiring could have been damaged between '93 and now, get that serviced by a pro. If thats not it, the A/C untit could be old and outdated.

Depending on the type of the problem you are having with the AC. It could be a easy fix as adding coolant which you can do yourself.

Repairs will depend on the kind of malfunction being experienced. Usually the compressor in many mid-sized cars loose compression with repeated use. In that case, take it to the nearest auto air-conditioner speacialist for an evaluation.
