To remove the floor boards from a VW you can either drive to a VW dealer and ask them to do this, which is the correct thing, or you can get out your tools and start to remove anything with a bolt, screw or other device to attach the parts together. Sledge hammers work the fastest, idiot!

The bottom line is that the floor boards of a VW, such as a vintage aircooled Beetle, must be cut out in order to be removed. These floors are factory welded in place. They can either be replaced in whole or in parts that are availble as seperate sections.

First remove the seats out of the VW, and than remove the carpet. Then you would need to remove the components under the floor boards. At the end you will need a grinder or plasma cutter to remove the floor boards out from underneath the VW because they are welded in.

If you want to remove the floor boards on most VW models, you'll first have to remove the carpeting. After the carpeting is out of the way, the floor boards can be unscrewed with an electric wrench.

Use a cut-off wheel, air chisel or plasma cutter. There are parts under the floor that will be cut if you are not careful. this isn't a job for beginners!

You will need to use a saw or a plasma cutter to cut them out. They are welded in. Make sure to brace the car up before you cut.

This question totally depends on the make and model of the VW. If you're just looking for a generic anser, then you just get down on your hands and knees and start removing every single bolt that's attached to the floor of the car. A quicker way would be to use a blow torch.

Well typically the only way of removing the floor boards of any car is to actually cut them out. The floor usually consisted of panels that are spot welded in. So you have to drill and cut them out.
