How do you reduce banding in photoshop?

I need to reduce banding in photoshop.

Try adding noise, and possibly applying a blur filter or something similar. Other than that, banding can only really be reduced by using more similar colors. If you use colors that have high contrast with each other, they will be more likely to band in a gradient. You can add some filter as dust and skretches.

Filters > noise > reduction change the slider to 60% noise. This will reduce the banding in an open image file.

You can add some filter as dust and skretches. Not use too much the filter, it can make your work "granulate"

Make a copy of your picture and work with the gaussian blur on your copy. After that merge the two pictures.

The first thing you can do to reduce banding is duplicate the gradient layer by dragging it to the new layer icon. Ensure that the layer you are working on is thegradient copy layer and go to the filter menu and select gaussian blur. Next you will need to add a large amount of blur.
